A swimming pool (50 m³) glass wall suddenly fractured. Vitroplena was contacted to analyse the problem and quickly come up with a solution. After identifying the fracture pattern and its cause, it was concluded that the applied glass laminate was inadequate.

A 3D numerical analysis of the glass wall was performed, resulting in a new, sufficiently strong glass package for the existing situation. The glass wall was replaced in due time and keeps the water nicely in place.
