100% glass bridge
a 5 m long all-glass bridge, adhesively bonded on site
For an interior project, vitroplena designed and calculated a 5m-long glass bridge.
The glass bridge is composed of 2 specifically produced glass beams - which also serve as parapets - on which a glass floor slab rests. The connection between the three parts was not classically performed with steel connectors, but rather by means of transparent bonding, developed within vitroplena. The bonding was also carried out on site.
Result? A 100% transparent bridge with maximum visual aesthetics and continuity without any metallic interruptions.
